On June 22, 2020, President Trump issued an addendum to Presidential Proclamation 10014, effectively suspending entry of various non-resident alien visa categories. The full provisions of the Proclamation can be consulted on the White House website. This announcement follows the initial suspension on April 22, 2020.
•This proclamation took effect Wednesday June 24, 2020 and will be in effect until December 31, 2020, if not extended.
•The H-1B, H-2B, L and J visa categories are concerned (includes J-1 Interns and Trainees).
•This proclamation applies to new applicants and will not invalidate the current visas of current visa holders.
