Food, beverage and hospitality events are coordinated by the FACC committee. The flagship event of the year is the Germinators Face Off, a pitch competition for startups representing French excellence and savoir-faire and wishing to develop in the U.S. market.
A Contest for French-American Companies
in the Food, Beverage & Hospitality Industry

The French-American Chamber of Commerce is partnering with executives from top French brands in the United States to create a robust package, to reward a company representing French excellence and innovation in the U.S. food, beverage and hospitality market. The finalists, and ultimately the winner, will be chosen as the company best representing French excellence, know-how, or innovation in the Food, Beverage, and Hospitality industries, and the most likely to succeed in the United States market. By offering our combined expertise in sales, knowledge of the market, customer engagement, and relationships with investors and retailers, our program will help entrepreneurs promote French excellence.

10 Finalists will receive exceptional networking opportunities with Venture Capitalists and Angels.
Deadline for Applications: March 1, 2019
All contestants must be a French or American company in the food, beverage, or hospitality industries. Which has been in those industries less than three years or is planning to enter those industries.
The products, services or technology must represent French excellence, know-how, or innovation.
The companies must be new to the United States market, and in no event in the United States market for more than three years.
All contestants must submit a five-minute video by March 1, 2019, detailing the reasons their company should win.
All contestants must be present for the pitch event on Monday, June 24th, 2019, if chosen as finalists.
Videos must include the applicants name, company name, location of headquarters, current revenue, year established in the U.S., number of employees domestically and globally, what the company does, how the company represents French innovation and excellence, and why the company deserves to win.
Contestants must fill out the application and include a link to their uploaded video.
Finalists will be notified. All applicants must be available for a video call interview with one of the Committee Executives. Finalists must be present in NYC on Monday, June 24th, 2019.
