Committee Mission Statement:
The FACC Young Executives Committee's mission is to help new members make exciting connections, learn about innovative business practices, and participate in career-building networking opportunities in New York City and beyond.
Hugues Seureau (Committee Co-chair) - Hugues Seureau is CEO at Essteem, organizer of Equalithons | www.equalithon.io | He has studied at Sciences Po Toulouse, and after a HR role at Total, and a Sales & Marketing role in northern Europe for an OTC pharmaceutical company, joined an Engineering software vendor (PTC) in France before crossing the Atlantic and working for them as a corporate strategy manager. He then switched to Essteem, in March 2020. With Essteem, he strives to solve challenges for social and environmental causes, enabling companies to better engage employees, teach DEI hands-on, and achieve CSR/ESG impact. https://www.linkedin.com/in/huguesseureau/

Charles Pontvianne -
Charles Pontvianne is Head of Corporate Finance and Capital Markets at Ÿnsect, the world's leading producer of sustainable insect-derived protein, all-natural fertilizer and other organic by-products. Charles was most recently a senior Vice President at Greenhill & Co., based in New York, where he advised corporate, private equity, creditor and hedge fund clients in Europe and North America on cross-border mergers & acquisitions (M&A), debt and equity financings, restructurings and special situation assignments across a wide range of industries. Prior to joining Greenhill, Charles worked at Blackstone in London and in the Global Advisory team at Rothschild & Co. in Paris, advising both companies and financial sponsors on cross-border transactions and capital raisings
In addition to the FACC, Charles is involved in a variety of other organisations including as a member of the Transatlanic Committee at the French-American Foundation (FAF) and a member of FrenchFounders' chapter in NYC, as a member of Christies' Young Collectors Club, as a mentor with UStrive as well as an active member of both the HEC Paris and McGill alumni associations.
Charles holds a Master of Science degree from HEC Paris and a Bachelor of Commerce degree in finance from the Desautels Faculty of Management at McGill University (Montréal, Canada)
Ben Karl -
Ben Karl is the founder of BK Translation LLC and a corporate communications and multilingual marketing specialist with more than a decade of experience in the language services industry. BK Translation LLC helps international companies find and refine their English voice, attract new customers, and communicate with all their stakeholders in North America.
In addition to serving on the FACC-NY Young Executives Committee, he also serves on the Board of Directors of the American Translators Association, is the chair of the International Federation of Translators’ (FIT) Translatio Standing Committee, and is a member of French Cluster, a group of experts that helps francophone businesses get a foothold in Southern California.
