Kjell Persson is the Vice President of CityNOW, the Applied Innovation & Connected Business Design division within Panasonic focusing on Energy and Mobility - the bedrock of Smart City sustainability and resiliency. Kjell is currently helping Denver beco​me a smarter and more sustainable city by creating sustainable digital solutions and services. Prior to joining Panasonic, Kjell was the CEO of InUse, and as a Senior Smart City Advisor on behalf of Panasonic, to the Smart City Pillar Process engagement in Colorado Springs.

As Co-Founder of MakeSense.org, Christian Vanizette works to mobilize over 100,000 engaged citizens, thousands of social entrepreneurs, and more than 100 large organizations in the name of solving social & environmental issues. Since 2010, MakeSense has impacted more than 4 million lives through their projects and as of 2018, is run by a team of 80 based in 7 cities around the world. Christian and the rest of the MakeSense team are on a mission to mobilize 180 million citizens towards fulfilling the 2030 Global Goals.
