Ways to Help Small Businesses Impacted by COVID-19

Community News | April 23, 2020

Our lives have completely changed in recent months, and we are all doing our best to adapt to a new normal as we navigate through COVID-19. Together we can and will get through this time by supporting each other, especially at the very heart of our community with local businesses.

Here are some ways you can help support local businesses in our community. #WeAreNY!

1. OCabanon - Support the team and their families.

For those who work in the service industry and get paid mostly with tips, the current situation is extremely challenging. Donate to help keep our member OCabanon's staff safe financially during this time.

If you are able to donate, click the button below.

2. French Wink - Stay at home, buy French.

French Wink is encouraging francophiles to stay home and check out their online shop with lots of new brands and products to help keep you and their business afloat at this time.

Order groceries, beauty products, and more here.

3. Eat Offbeat - Buy a package, give a meal.

Our catering partner Eat Offbeat has introduced their Stay at Home Care Package meal program, a work week’s worth of meals and snacks from around the world. It gets better...they have also launched their new BOGO (Buy One, Give One) Program! For every care package purchased, they will be donating one meal to frontline workers around the city (with the option to add more meals at checkout). Help Eat Offbeat take care of our frontline workers as they take care of NYC.

4. Alhambra - Buy a beauty kit, support our heroes.

Our partner Alhambra is donating half of their inventory to healthcare workers and for every beauty kit Alhambra sells, they will also be donating a kit to our hardworking healthcare heroes.

Given the uncertainty of the COVID-19 outbreak, stay connected with the businesses listed above on their social channels to get the latest updates.
