Chapter News | May 11, 2020

Dear members and friends of the French-American Chamber of Commerce New York,

It’s been two months now since the French-American Chamber of Commerce New York chapter has transitioned its operations to a “work from home” policy; no more in person events, no more Exchange Visitors opening the door of the office to enquire details about a new episode of their lives, no more new member breakfasts at the high table in the reception area, no more coworkers in the reserved space… It seems like the time has been suspended, we all lost track of the day of the week. However, the team has been working really hard to prepare the “Back to Broadway” step and we are all looking forward to welcoming our members and visitors to the offices.

Because the key to the successfully reopening our doors means being ready. There is no date yet on when we will reopen, but one thing I am sure about is that we have to start now! Like so many businesses in Manhattan eager to restart their operations, the road to reopening is new, never ridden before and paved with signs not visible in any driver's manual!

This is why we have asked experts to lead us through this process and they shared their best practices with you as well during webinars. Please take advantage of all the resources we have pulled together for you and your business to successfully reopen. Check also all expert resources compiled on the FACC-NY website, including the excellent back to work guidelines at the federal, state and local levels.

There is a lot to do, so let’s get started now and develop a plan so your business is ready by the time the city officially re-opens.

Let us know of any specific connection you need. Remember: as a member of FACC-NY, you are entitled several business introductions to make sure you grow your activity and get the most out of the entire members database.

A bientôt,

Isabelle
