The French-American Chamber of Commerce focuses on providing high-level networking and informative events dedicated to connecting and developing business among its 1,000+ members and the French-American business community at large. The 2022 Germinators Face-Off Contest, is led by a committee of six executives that will be reviewing projects from both French and American Entrepreneurs.

For the second edition of this celebrated competition, we are bringing together the best French and American start-ups for the ultimate pitch night and networking event. From edible bugs to carbon offsets, urban gardens and millennial-friendly caviar, past applicants have been incredibly diverse in their focus and products. This is our largest, most anticipated startup event of the year and we expect to welcome more than 100 guests to a top NYC venue.

A selection of ten projects will be given the chance to present their business plan live in front of a jury of professionals and the public during a convivial gathering. One winner will receive a $10,000 cash prize + coaching package + annual FACC-NY membership. Ten finalists will receive exceptional networking opportunities with venture capitalists and angel investors.

Key Information

The FACC will leverage our national network (19 Chapters), the regional chambers of commerce in France, alumni networks of top French Universities, and more to attract top-level candidates. Over 50 applications and 100 event attendees are expected.
