Tiffany Home & High Jewelry Private Viewing
On April 8th, a select group of FACC members had the opportunity to visit the Tiffany & Co. 5th avenue flagship boutique for a private viewing of the Home & High Jewelry collection.
Regional Vice President and store General Manager Jeff Bennett welcomed guests to the mezzanine private viewing room, rich with the influence of storied French visionary, Jean Schlumberger.
Mr Bennett recounted the history of the Atlas clock, installed in 1853 above the Broadway store, a symbol of America’s, first great jeweler, forever linked to the city’s rise as an international capital of glamour and sophistication. On the subject of sustainability, Tiffany is mindful of the origin of their precious metals and gems, highlighting the transparent sourcing of all stones above .18 carats and procurement of much of their gold, silver and platinum from mines in Utah and Montana.
Guests enjoyed champagne and hors d'oeuvres from the celebrated Blue Box Cafe before discovering the sophisticated collection of accessories, home and housewarming gifts.
Many thanks to FACC member Jill Esterman for coordinating this exceptional visit and introducing us to the craftsmanship and history of this iconic American brand.
