2018 FinTech Symposium
On October 10th, over 150 attendees gathered to attend the FinTech Symposium, organized by the Banking and Finance Committee of the French-American Chamber of Commerce. Held at Wells Fargo Learning Center, the venue permitted guests to gather for welcoming remarks by Doug Taliaferro, Regional Vice President, NYC Middle Market Banking at Wells Fargo, followed by panel one's discussion of regulation in the FinTech environment. Moderated by David Morel-Jean, Candice Aloisi, Ryan Poscablo and Kristin Boggiano each brought interesting perspectives to the debate.
After attending panel 1, guests chose between the final presentations. Panel 2 discussed the increasing use of robotic process automation tools, such as artificial intelligence, with panelists Mara Kern, Martin Caupin and Mustafa Ozturk, moderated by Christopher Johannessen. Panel 3 welcomed an enthusiastic crowd to discuss blockchain- namely whether companies actually need to implement a complex blockchain solution for their needs. Moderated by Shane Williams, Sadia Halim, Kiran Murty and Diana Kearns Manolatos participated.
