Where are they now? Former Serge Bellanger Laureates

July 23, 2018
Founded in 2012, the FACC Foundation was created to support the next generation of transatlantic business professionals via the awarding of the Serge Bellanger MBA scholarship.  We caught up with 2015 Laureate, Priyanka Mathew, to hear more about her experience and what winning the scholarship meant to her.

FACC: Where did you pursue your MBA? PM: HEC Paris, with a focus in strategy. The program is made up of about 90% international students and 10% French students. It was a great departure from my undergraduate degree which was very American-focused. I knew I wanted to do an international MBA for this reason. FACC: What was your experience like? PM: The program was so diverse and robust. We explored all aspects of business and touched upon subjects I had never been exposed to, such as supply chain management. I was President of the luxury club and I couldn't believe that at 30 years old I was given the opportunity to work on case studies for some of the largest names in luxury, such as Gucci, and actually be given a stage to present to them our work. It changed the whole trajectory of my career to be put in front of CEO's and given this opportunity.  FACC: Where did you end up after graduation? PM: After graduation I was offered a job at LVMH working for Guerlain as the Director of Brand Marketing. It was a great experience. I was able to work on 4 NY fashion weeks, the launch of Mon Guerlain perfumes and influencer campaigns.  Enjoy an exceptional evening of rooftop cocktails, a three course dinner, dancing, entertainment & networking while supporting scholars like Priyanka.
