Applying for your J-1 Visa
The administrative fees, which are the responsibility of the host company, are $1,000 for a program of 1-12 months, and $1,500 for a program of 12-18 months. There are also FACC Membership fees, which will vary depending on the chapter the host company will join. The SEVIS Fee ($180), MRV embassy appointment fee ($160), and the cost of insurance are the responsibility of the candidate. As a reminder, your stipend may not cover all potential expenses, so you should come with additional personal funds.
