Starting, growing, and managing a business can prove both challenging and rewarding for many entrepreneurs. On Tuesday, October 30, entrepreneurs and members of the French-American Chamber of Commerce and the INSEAD Alumni Association gathered for a roundtable discussion and offered a unique entrepreneurial perspective on successful business practices.
The discussion was moderated by Doug Glucroft, Partner, Nixon Peabody, and featured the recommendations of leading experts in such diverse fields as consulting, law, and accounting. Experts included Joe Tabet, Melcion, Chassagne, & Cie; Todd Tidgewell, Nixon Peabody; and Frederic Blanchard, KVB Partners. Two thriving entrepreneurs, Fabrice Grinda of OLX Inc., and Tommaso Trionfi of Wimba, drew on their own experiences to recount moments of triumph and failure throughout their various business ventures as entrepreneurs. Discussion topics included unforeseen traps in entrepreneurial success, the financing of a company’s growth, relationships with investors and shareholders, and exit strategies.
Following a lively discussion, members and guests had the opportunity to network and enjoy breakfast sponsored by Nixon Peabody.
The French-American Chamber of Commerce thanks Nixon Peabody for its support of the event, and thanks all attendees for their participation.
