On Thursday, June 15, 2006, the French-American Chamber of Commerce held its popular Annual Tennis Tournament for the 15th consecutive year. Guests and members of the French American Chamber enjoyed an afternoon of tennis and socializing at the renowned West Side Tennis Club in Forest Hills. Corporate Teams and Individual players competed in an afternoon of round robin doubles tennis.

The winner of the 2006 Constantin Cup was Jade Associates. The individual women's tournament winner was Karin Lestelle and the individual men's tournament winner was Jerome Faure. The FACC congratulates all winners!

After the tournament, players and spectators gathered for a champagne reception courtesy of Champagne Paul Goerg, a raffle drawing and the awards ceremony. To kick off the ceremony, John Korff, the U.S. Tennis Association Director at Large, offered his thoughts on the American and International Tennis scenes.

A fabulous array of raffle prizes included tennis memorabilia from Bob Coburn, gifts from the New York Red Bulls, Giftybox, Bernardaud, Longchamp, Westside Tennis Club, and the grand prize, a pair of round trip tickets to Paris courtesy of Air France. Guests enjoyed a French-Caribbean barbeque prepared specially for the FACC by Chef Errol Bridgewater. Dinner and musical entertainment was held on the terrace of the club over looking the courts. At the end of the evening, all guests received a gift bag with goodies courtesy of Phyto, Lierac, Caron, Lorina, Dr. Sylvie and Gerald Epelbaum, Graphicness, Air France, and Renault Eurodrive.
