The Consumer Electronics Show (CES) hosted by the Consumer Technology Association (CTA), which took place on January 7-10 2020 in Las Vegas, is a global stage for innovation. For #CES2020, FACC Associate Director of Membership Jeremie Sautter, in collaboration with myGlobalVillage, was present to cover the latest announcements, experience the trade show and network with French entrepreneurs. Many thanks to Member Elie Cohen, Managing Partner at Wave Group, Marc-Lionel Gatto, Commisioner General of myGlobalVillage and the Village Francophone for including the FACC in this partnership and initiative to bring together innovative companies, and their products with the individuals and networks critical to their business development and success.

Annually, CES welcomes 170k visitors and 4k exhibitors, 300 of which are French companies. Within this community, Bertrand Blanpain, President and Director of Arkéa, is credited as being the #1 investor in French FinTech ($600m/yr). Before the opening day, CES 2020 made headlines for their announcement of Ivanka Trump, Advisor to the President and the White House, as a keynote speaker in conversation entitled "The Path to the Future of Work" with Gary Shapiro, President and CEO of CTA.

There were many more notable announcements of #CES2020 including a much buzzed about Hyundai flying car and a partnership with Uber for air taxis as early as 2023. The L'Oreal Perso AI-powered skincare and beauty product at-home tool mixes the exact amount and custom-formulated color and composition for beauty addicts, with Gizmodo touting it as "Even Cooler in Person."
