FACC-NY Annual Member Meeting

The French-American Chamber of Commerce’s New York Chapter will hold its Annual Member Meeting at 10:45am on May 29, 2019 at Crédit Agricole (1301 Avenue of the Americas). The meeting will be followed by a short reception.

We are honored to welcome James Patchett, President of the New York City Economic Development Corporation (NYCEDC) as our keynote speaker.

As this is an election year, and in accordance with the Chamber’s by-laws, a Nominating Committee has been appointed to “prepare a list of candidates who are qualified by their talents and their expressed intention to devote time to the management of the Chapter”. Nominating Committee members include:

• Antoinette Botarelli, First Vice President – Interaudi Bank
• Jean Rosanvallon, President & CEO – Dassault Falcon Jet
• Marc Somnolet, Global Marketing Executive, Independent Advisor

Candidacies for the FACC-NY Board of Directors 2019-2021 term are now open. By no later than May 1, Corporate and Councilor-level members interested in serving on the Chamber’s Board of Directors should send a short statement of their candidacy including the ideas, time and other commitments they would be prepared to devote to the Chamber over the next two years. Active, Associate and Young Executive-level members will be required to upgrade their membership to Councilor or Corporate in order to be considered for nomination to the Board.

James Patchett, President & CEO, NYCEDC

The President and CEO of New York City Economic Development Corporation, James Patchett has spent his career building stronger cities through investments in affordable housing, innovation, and 21st century infrastructure. In his current role overseeing job growth and economic development for the City of New York, James taps into his deep experience in real estate, finance, government, and urban planning. During his tenure, he has overseen some of the city’s most ambitious projects, including launching a citywide ferry system, developing Mayor de Blasio’s 100,000 jobs plan, and optimizing NYCEDC’s 60 million square feet of real estate.
